You probably know by now that I’m a huge fan of lists and stats. I wish I could track all there is to track, but that’s impossible — which is why I’m so happy that 2017bestnine.com does it for me when it comes to Chain Twenty’s most successful Instagram pictures of 2017. I don’t wanna say “best”, because in my humble opinion some pictures were “better” than the ones that actually made it to the top nine. These were the most successful however, in terms of engagement. Let me tell you the story behind each, as a way of reviewing the insane year that was 2017.
The Bullet Journal, who hasn’t heard of it by now? If you didn’t, get out of your hiding cave, 😉 and let me explain it to you: bullet journaling is a way of planning that requires a journal and lets you make lists with bullets. Of course there’s more to it than that, otherwise it wouldn’t be so popular. The planning system revolves around a few basic elements, but the good thing is that it is also very adaptable to your own needs and planning habits. That’s why everyone uses it in a different way and that’s why it’s so interesting to read about journaling experiences and ideas of others. I can’t for the life of me remember who suggested this blogpost topic to me, I’m so sorry! If it was you, let me know and I’ll link you asap. But yes, today I’ll talk you through the basic elements of my Bullet Journal.
Sooo, I’ve been thinking long and hard about this. I’ve wanted the perfect format for my blog for ages. Back in the merely-merel.nl days (the archives of which you’re highly recommended to check out if you wanna have a laugh) as well as now. I wanted to know exactly what kind of blogposts I was going to post. What to talk about. Which categories and labels to give them. How to style them. All that stuff. As you can guess from this blogpost’s title, that didn’t work out. Again, haha. So I’m embracing my ever-changing self and today I tell you all about my plans. Plus a little personal update related to my prepping for Gran Canaria!
