Again, this was a kind of day where I ate all the frogs: I did all the email-related stuff, including a call for testers for an amazing sweater that is part of a collaboration with Natalie. It’s on my to do list to set up a form where you can subscribe to my pool of testers (to which I send out my calls), but for now, send me an email (hello@chaintwenty.com) if you’re interested in being a part of that pool! All I need is your first name (or screen name) and the email address you want the calls for testers to be send to.

I even managed to get groceries. And you guys know I hate doing that. The sad part is that I found this delicious sweet potato wrap recipe, but forgot to buy the wraps. >< I was not gonna go back though, I’ll figure something else out, haha!

In the evening, a friend came over and we had wine + good conversations. As your typical introvert, that’s the kind of social contact I’m all about. It’s been difficult for me to really connect with people since moving to Gran Canaria (one and a half year ago!), because the focus has been too much (for my liking) on going out for dinners or parties, on going to the beach in large groups, on doing group activities, etc. That kind of social contact, let’s be honest, consists mostly of small talk. And I don’t do small talk. I mean, I can do it, but I don’t really want to, because it doesn’t make me interested in people, it doesn’t bring real connections, and it sucks up energy like it’s nobody’s business. Anyway, I guess I’m just happy I’ve made progress regardless!
